Sen. Oluremi Tinubu Asks Nigerians To Pray For Nabeeha's Sisters' Safe Return From The Den Of Kidnappers
Senator Tinubu urged the nation to unite in fervent prayers for the safe return of kidnapped girls (sisters)
Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, the first lady of Nigeria, urged security agencies to step up their efforts on Monday to address the urgent problem of kidnappings and insecurity in Nigeria.
In response to the recent kidnapping of the Al-Kadriyar sisters in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Senator Tinubu made this statement in a post on X. “I implore our security agencies to intensify their efforts in addressing the pressing matter of kidnappings and insecurity in our nation,” she wrote.
“The safety and swift return of the Al-Kadriyar sisters and others in captivity should be our paramount concern.”
The wife of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu also expressed her sorrow over the terrible death of their sister Nabeeha, who was killed by the abductors. She also expressed her condolences to the Al-Kadriyar family, who are grieving, and urged ardent prayers for the safe return of all the other sisters and the kidnapped individuals.
“It is with a heavy heart that I acknowledge the devastating loss of Nabeeha and extend my deepest condolences to her grieving family. In difficult moments like this, I urge the nation to join in fervent prayers for the safe return of these girls. Let us hold the families close to our hearts in prayers.
“To the parents, especially mothers, I appeal for intensified prayers for our children and for peace to prevail in our beloved country.”
Furthermore, Senator Tinubu prayed that the Almighty God grant the Al-Kadriyar family comfort in light of their loss and that God grant the other children a safe return to their homes.
