President Tinubu Reportedly Moves To Reconcile Kwakwanso And Ganduje
President Bola Tinubu has kick-started moves to reconcile the national leader of the NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso and the National Chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje, ahead of his push for a second term in office in 2027.
According to reports, Tinubu has begun efforts to make amends with National Chairman of the APC Abdullahi Ganduje and National Leader of the NNPP Rabiu Kwankwaso in preparation for his bid for a second term in office in 2027.
Rumor has it that the president told Ganduje that he wanted to include Kwankwaso in the APC and asked him to come up with a plan for making this happen.
Nonetheless, in order to gain the support of APC members in the state, the president asked Ganduje to call a meeting in Kano as a first step toward accomplishing that objective.
Even though many APC stakeholders at the Abuja meeting had doubts about the president's proposal, it was learned that none of them dared to voice their disagreement.
