Femi Gbajabiamila gets N10 billion to renovate official residence; N10.1 billion for computer software
The lavish N10 billion for Femi Gbajabiamila's house and N290 million for new cars are included in the 2024 budget
According to sources within the National Assembly, Femi Gbajabiamila, Bola Tinubu's chief of staff, is expected to receive an astounding N21 billion allocation for the 2019 year, which includes N10 billion for his official residence.
Notably, Gbajabiamila's official mansion is set to be renovated with an astounding N10 billion set aside for this purpose. According to reports, the Chief of Staff suggested allocating N104 million for printers and computers, and another N579 million for "local travel and transport for international training." The budget breakdown reveals an astounding N290 million set aside for car purchases and an eye-opening N10.1 billion for computer software.
The budget, which calls for 1.78 million barrels of crude oil per day, a N7.8 trillion borrowing plan, and an exchange rate of N700 to the US dollar, was approved by the National Assembly last week.
