47-year-old Jason Pass is the target of a manhunt by American law enforcement after he shot and kicked a father and his stepson on Sunday night, October 29, after a fight about noise

The horrifying moment the irate neighbor pulled out a gun and shot and killed the victims, identified as Bladimy Mathurin, 47, and his stepson Chinwai Mode, 27, was caught on camera by a security camera in the corridor.

In the video, Pass, whose apartment is at 1418 Brooklyn Avenue's third floor, is seen arguing with his neighbors, who are just above him.

A moment later, it looks like Mathurin is holding a pair of scissors to Pass's neck while his wife is attempting to pull him away on the security footage. After passing many dirty looks at the dead, Pass left the scene in a composed manner by riding the elevator.

"Noise complaints, basically people walking. Apartment upstairs did not have carpeting, so people walking back and forth generated these calls," Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said.

Numerous complaints from both flats were received, according to the building's management, and mediation was promised but never completed.

Pass pounded on the ceiling, so her husband hammered on the floor back, according to the victims' mother and wife. Pass kicked their door a few moments later, provoking her and her husband to step outside and face him.
