“I'm A Conqueror,” Kenyan Chef Reportedly Suffers A Medical Emergency
Kenyan Chef reportedly suffered and emergency while trying to set new Guniness World Record (GWR)
A medical issue has caused a setback for popular Kenyan female cook Maliha Mohammed, who started a Cook-a-thon in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record.
Maliha set off on November 15 to beat the record of 119 hours, 57 minutes, and 16 seconds, and she has been updating her followers on her journey ever since.
Her quest to break the current Guinness World record held by Alan Fisher (Ireland) took an unexpected turn when she passed the 111-hour mark due to a medical emergency.
Maliha was shown unconscious and receiving medical attention from staff members in a video that was posted to her Instagram stories. She expressed her resolve that the emergency would not mean the end of the culinary marathon, in spite of the setback.
"I am a conqueror and a marathon runner. Nothing is bringing us down; to the finish line, we go," she wrote.
