Four Militants From ISWAP Were Killed In Borno By Their IED


No fewer than four Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP) terrorists have been killed by their Improvised Explosive Device (IED)



An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detonated near San-San village in Mobbor LGA, Borno State, has killed at least four terrorists affiliated with the Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP).


According to report, the terrorists encountered their demise on Wednesday, November 29, when laying an explosive close to the 5 Brigade's troop route.


Concurrently, terrorist-planted IEDs have been found by MNJTF Sector 4 forces stationed in Chetima Wongonu, around the Chetimari settlement.

Prior to the event, the report states that suspected ISWAP terrorists opened fire in Chetimari at night in an attempt to entice the forces into the IED trap.


However, troops resisted and later discovered the IED at about 6:30pm and was subsequently detonated.
