The EFCC stresses its commitment to fighting economic and financial crimes and advises the public to exercise caution. Some of the tips it offers include keeping cards visible, checking bank statements on a regular basis, setting transaction alerts, covering the keypad when entering a PIN, and calling the bank to block cards in case of irregularities
