Abacha's Daughter Strangled To Death With Hands, Legs Tied

Bukar Abacha, a member for the Ngala seat in the Borno house of assembly, has been placed in mourning following the murder of his daughter, who was reportedly strangled at her home in Maiduguri's Gidan Dembe neighborhood.

The lawmaker's daughter's body was discovered at her home, with her hands and legs bound behind her back, according to Zagazola Makama reporting.

According to the article, the victim's husband brought her body to the police station, and her two-year-old daughter was discovered sobbing next to her body.

"We actually received a report on the killing, but whether it was gunmen that committed the culpable homicide or not is yet to be ascertained please.

"The report we received was that the incident occurred at about 0700hrs.

"The police have already commence a discreet investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the killing as well as arrest and bring the perpetrators to book," the spokesperson said.
