Nollywood Actor Hospitalized, Begs For Assistance [VIDEO]

Mr. Ibu is fighting a condition that could cost him his leg and is looking for governmental support

John Okafor, a seasoned comedy actor better known by his stage name Mr. Ibu, has turned to social media to ask for support from the public as he fights a condition that could lose him his leg.

On Wednesday, the actor appealed from his hospital bed.

The actor said he had been hospitalized for several weeks in a footage posted on his Instagram page.

His daughter Jasmine Okafor, who also spoke, claimed that Ibu isn't getting well and has used up all of his financial resources, which is why he is making a public appeal.

Jasmine pleaded with charitable people to fund the flight of Ibu abroad for better medical care.

Capturing the video, Ibu wrote: "Dear Good people of Nigeria, we are counting on your support at these points we need it the most.
