Professor Ben Nwabueze (SAN), a prominent Nigerian constitutional lawyer and the former global secretary general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has passed away.
The distinguished legal icon passed away on Sunday at around 4 p.m., according to Arinze Nzeli, President General of the Atani Town Union.
Nzeli revealed that the renowned legal icon had been ill for some time before to the regrettable event.
The former Ohaneze Ndigbo Secretary General passed away on Sunday, according to a text confirmed by Afam Ogene, the member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Ogbaru Federal Constitution.
He was 92 years old.
Ben Nwabueze was born in 1931 and is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
He hails from Anambra State's Atani.
