BBNaija All Stars: Mercy and I are Just Friends - Pere

Pere Egbi, former housemate on Big Brother Naija All Stars, has said that he and Mercy have a true affinity for one another.

In the penultimate week of the recently finished BBNaija All-Stars season, the couple was involved in a passionate affair.

Pere said to Ebuka Obi-Uchendu in a recent interview with Africa Magic that he had become fond to Mercy even before the show.

He said, "I have seen her [Mercy]. Before the show, I was having a conversation with Cross, I know that she [Mercy] likes me and I like her.

"So there's a mutual likeness. That should be the beginning of everything, whether it's friendship or anything. We both like each other genuinely."

On his relationship with KimOprah, Pere said, "There was nothing romantic with KimOprah. She has always been a friend. It's just platonic friendship. I've known from outside the House. We've hung out several times. It was nothing out of the ordinary."
