Umahi Discusses The N9000 Pricing Of Cement

President Bola Tinubu and God are the only ones, according to Minister of Works Dave Umahi, who may revoke his directive.

He insisted that the claims that cement prices would soar to N9,000 if the government began building concrete roads were untrue.

He asserted that people spreading such rumors are doing so as part of a significant effort by the building sector cabals to discredit him.

This was said by the former governor of Enonyi State on Tuesday in Abuja during a gathering of contractors from the six geopolitical zones at the ministry's headquarters.

"This is my line of instructions and I will do whatever the president instructs me to do. He is the only one and God that can cancel my instructions; so don't waste your time reporting me to anyone apart from these two.

"No matter the amount of blackmail and lies, it will not prevail," the minister reassured.
