UCL: Man Utd Suffers A Serious Injury Setback Before Facing Bayern Munich
Prior to their Wednesday night match in Germany against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League group stage, Manchester United has been dealt a significant injury setback.
After suffering an injury in the dying moments of their Premier League loss to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, the Red Devils announced via their website on Monday that defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is expected to miss some time.
Wan-Bissaka entered the match against Brighton as a substitute in the 85th minute after being forced to sit out the previous match due to illness.
How long the right-back Wan-Bissaka will be sidelined for Erik ten Hag's team will require further evaluation.
Wan-Bissaka, though, appears to be out for several weeks at this time.
In Group A of the Champions League, Man United is placed with Bayern Munich, Copenhagen, and Galatasaray.
