Tribunal Sacks Attah Of The Labour Party For Eti Osa Federal Constituency Of Lagos State

According to reports, the tribunal dismisses Thaddeus Attah of the LP and orders a runoff election in Eti-Osa, Lagos state.

Thaddeus Attah's election as the representative for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency of Lagos State has been declared invalid by a tribunal sitting in Ikeja, Lagos State.

The court mandated that INEC hold an additional election in Eti-Osa's 32 voting units within 90 days.

Additionally, INEC has been instructed to cancel the return certificate given to Attah and hold polls in any areas where none were held on February 25.

Ibrahim Obanikoro, a candidate for the All Progressive Congress (APC), tweeted on his Instagram story to corroborate the information.

The Election Petition Tribunal that sat today in Eti Osa agreed with Banky W and Obanikoro that elections did not hold in about 40 PUs in the area.
