Real Madrid Names A Replacement Carlo Ancelotti
Carlo Ancelotti |
Real Madrid is eager to name Roberto de Zerbi, the head coach of Brighton, when Carlo Ancelotti steps down as manager at Santiago Bernabeu.
The end of the current 2023–24 season appears to be when Ancelotti will depart Real Madrid for a second time.
Xabi Alonso, the manager of Bayer Leverkusen and a former Real Madrid midfielder, has been considered among the candidates who could take the Italian's post.
Cadena claims that Real Madrid will make every effort to persuade De Zerbi to assume leadership at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Graham Potter was replaced by De Zerbi at Brighton last season. De Zerbi left the Premier League team Shakhtar Donetsk.
The 44-year-old immediately won over Brighton supporters with his appealing and upbeat brand of play as he guided the Seagulls to their first-ever qualification for European football and a sixth-place finish in the Premier League last season.
Ancelotti Lists His Top Three Candidates To Coach Real Madrid
The manager of Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, has named three candidates to take over the La Liga team in the future.
It is commonly believed that Ancelotti will take over the Brazil national team after leaving Los Blancos in the summer of 2019.
Former Madrid player Xabi Alonso has been strongly associated with the position this week.
Ancelotti addressed the Alonso rumors during a press conference on Tuesday.
He said: "I have coached Xabi, he's doing a great job at Bayer (Leverkusen).
"He understands the game well, that's why he's a very good coach.
"I wish Xabi Alonso, Raul, and Alvaro Arbeloa to become Real Madrid's manager one day. I love all of them."
