MOHBAD'S DEATH: Nollywood Actress Iyabo Ojo, Has Called For A Protest In Lagos State

On Monday, Iyabo made the disclosure during an Instagram live session.


Prior to the event on Tuesday or Wednesday, she stated that her non-profit organization, Pinkies Foundation, will deliver a letter to the state government on Monday.


She stated, "Governor Sanwo Olu. I'm calling on other entertainers in the business to attend the rally. Please utilize your good offices, sir. Please make sure that each of these

The former Marlian Music Record signee, Mohbad, reportedly passed away last Tuesday at the age of 27 and was buried on Wednesday.


On the internet, debates concerning his death's circumstances are still going strong.


When he was still alive, the singer frequently claimed that Naira Marley's record label, the Marlian, had threatened to kill him.


Following the online evidence and videos, the Lagos State Police Command said in a statement posted on its verified social media account on Saturday that "a full-scale criminal investigation into the case has been ordered in response to the growing public concerns and the preliminary police review of the circumstances surrounding the death of Mohbad."


On Friday, Nigerians also started signing a petition to outlaw Marlian Music, the late singer's former record label.


At the time of this publication, the petition posted on change.org had more than 250,000 signatories.


Recall that Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, in a controversial manner, and was buried at Ikorodu the next day.
