EPL: Chelsea Midfielder Willing To Leave Pochettino's Squad With One Caveat
If Gallagher loses his spot in Pochettino's team before January, he will reportedly think about his future at Chelsea, according to Football Insider (via TeamTalk).
Prior to the European Championships the following year, the 23-year-old is aware that he will require playing time.
Romeo Lavia, a Southampton, Chelsea new signee, who might soon put Gallagher under pressure, is recuperating from an injury and could be eying Gallagher's position.
Carney Chukwuemeka, meantime, is also out and will be out for six weeks following surgery.
Chuwkuemeka, though, might also contend for Gallagher's starting position for a Chelsea team that has had a dismal 2022–23 campaign.
This season, Gallagher has started each of Chelsea's six games in all competitions.
He has yet to score a goal or provide an assist, although Tottenham Hotspur of the Premier League expressed interest in him during the summer.
