Ex-Man Utd goalie De Gea is prepared to make a shocking decision over his future

According to the UK Guardian, former Spain goalkeeper David de Gea is thinking about retiring because he can't seem to find a new team.

The former Manchester United goalkeeper is reportedly committed to maintaining his top spot.

Since leaving Old Trafford this summer, De Gea has already declined a number of bids.

These include Saudi Arabian offers, as the 32-year-old is not driven by financial gain.

He has, though, maintained his fitness through solitary workouts and is actively hunting for a new squad, albeit one that would make him their first choice.

De Gea would love to join a squad that is capable of competing for significant trophies this year.

Although neither transfer has taken place, he has recently been linked to Real Betis or Valencia in LaLiga. The goalkeeper is now a free agent after Real Madrid and Bayern Munich both abandoned their interest in signing him.
