EPL: Marcel Desailly Hails Chelsea Star After Most Recent Defeat

Carney Chukwuemeka received plaudits from former Chelsea defender Marcel Desailly for his performance in the French team's 3-1 loss to West Ham United on Sunday.

West Ham defeated Chelsea at the London Stadium for their first loss in the current Premier League season.

For a quarter of the game, the Blues controlled possession and played with an extra player, but they were unable to earn any points since Chukwuemeka's goal was insufficient for Mauricio Pochettino's team.

Nayef Aguerd had given the Hammers the lead in the seventh minute with a strong header from a corner, Chukwuemeka showcased his dancing boots and levelled things in the 28th minute.

However, the hosts defeated Chelsea with all three points thanks to two goals from Michail Antonio and Lucas Paqueta in the second half.
