UCL: Guardiola Described Losing To Real Madrid As The End Of The World
Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, acknowledged that losing to Real Madrid in the Champions League semifinal last year seemed like "the end of the world."
Including that thrilling 3-1 comeback at the Bernabeu, Madrid eliminated City last season with a 6-5 victory.
However, Guardiola is appreciative of getting another chance to participate in the competition's championship game.
"Last season it was (like) the end of the world but here we are again," Guardiola said.
"The important thing is we are trying to get better every year.
"The difference is the second leg is at home and everything will be decided anchester."
