Tribunal For Presidential Election Petition Adjourns Until May 17

The Labour Party, LP's petitions will now be heard by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

After a brief petition hearing, the court adjourned, according to Okonkwo, who also appeared in court in his capacity as one of the Labour Party, LP's legal representatives.

He noted: "After a brief hearing of the matter, the court adjourned to Wednesday, 17 May 2023, for a continuation of hearing...I will keep you posted. We believe in God for a positive outcome with your supplications to God."

The five-member panel, presided over by Justice Haruna Tsammani, held its first meeting on Monday and continued the pre-hearing trial on Wednesday.
