Ligue 1: Messi Is To Blame For PSG fans' jeers, According To France's Former Coach
Lionel Messi, a forward for Paris Saint-Germain, has drawn jeers from the team's supporters, according to former France coach Raymond Domenech.
Messi hasn't performed well at PSG, according to Domenech, who claimed that Messi is to blame for the supporters' reaction.
The winner of the World Cup from Argentina has been the target of rage from PSG supporters recently.
Following Messi's two-week suspension for an unapproved travel to Saudi Arabia, they voiced their disapproval both inside the stadium and outside the PSG headquarters.
On the "L'Équipe du Soir" program of L'Equipe, Domenech stated, "And he [Messi] did not succeed, or he did not want to develop anything with the public, which does not return to him.
"That is the problem. Somehow, he is also responsible for these whistles. At the end of the game, he leaves, he does not go to see them. He doesn't have a greeting.
"He didn't make contact with the audience. So, this love spite can be explained."
