FORBES 2023 HIGHEST PAID ATHLETICS IN THE WORLD
Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Kylian Mbappe are among the top ten highest-paid athletes in 2023, according to Forbes.
Forbes released a list of the top ten highest-paid sportsmen in 2023, with Ronaldo, Messi, and Mbappe taking first, second, and third place, respectively.
Following his departure from Manchester United in 2022, Ronaldo joined Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr for a whopping $46 million per year, with an additional $90 million coming in from endorsements, licensing income, and other business ventures, making him the highest-earning athlete this year.
Ronaldo led the list with $136 million, while Messi was second with $130 million.
Mbappe, Messi's partner, came in third place with $120 million.
Basketball star LeBron James ($119.5 million), boxing star Canelo Alvarez ($110 million), golf duo Dustin Johnson ($107 million) and Phil Mickelson ($106 million), NBA star Stephen Curry ($100.4 million), tennis legend Roger Federer ($95. 1 million), and basketball star Kevin Durant ($89.1 million) are also on Forbes' list of the highest-paid athletes in 2023.
