EPL: TEN HAG IS DEMANDING RONALDO'S NO.7 SHIRT FROM MANCHESTER UNITED'S STAR

Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho has expressed a desire for manager Erik ten Hag to present him with the club's legendary No. 7 shirt.

Cristiano Ronaldo was the final legend to wear the No. 7 jersey at Old Trafford.

Following a clash with ten Hag, Ronaldo left the club in November 2022, just before the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Garnacho made his Red Devils debut in April 2022, in a 1-1 Premier League tie against Chelsea under Ralf Rangnick.

He has four goals in 29 appearances for the former Premier League champions in all competitions.

Last week, the Argentine was rewarded with a new contract, and the youngster has expressed a desire to wear the famed No. 7 shirt.

The 18-year-old indicated his readiness to wear the renowned jersey by like a fan's tweet that wrote, "Give Garnacho the 7 shirt."
