During a recent night out in Manchester, Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford stepped in to save the world's sexiest footballer, Alisha Lehmann, from an unruly male mob.

The Aston Villa female squad player and Rashford were reportedly partying separately at the Chinawhite club earlier this month when the Manchester United man observed Lehmann being surrounded upon her arrival.

The Red Devils hero was alleged to have rushed in and saved the female footballer, widely regarded as the sexiest in the world.

Rashford then cleared a table in the VIP section and offered the player and her friends to join him, giving her a chance to avoid the unwanted attention.

"They exchanged a few words and she thanked him, then they continued partying with their separate groups of friends," a club source told The Sun. She believed he was a gentleman."

According to the Sun, Lehmann is regarded as "one of the world's sexiest footballers," with over 13 million Instagram followers.
