EPL: MOURINHO OPPOSES BOEHLY'S STRATEGY

Jose Mourinho, the manager of AS Roma, has rejected down an approach from Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly.

Mourinho was on Boehly's shortlist of managerial contenders for Chelsea, but the Portuguese denied his interest, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

Mourinho's contract with Roma expires in a year.

Meanwhile, former PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino is expected to be confirmed as Chelsea's new manager in the coming days.
