EPL: LAMPARD SINGLES OUT ONE PLAYER AFTER CHELSEA'S LOSS AGAINST ARSENAL
Frank Lampard, the manager of Chelsea, has singled out one of his players for praise following their dreadful performance against Arsenal in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
According to the Englishman, former PSV Eindhoven star Chinonso 'Noni' Madueke was the only Chelsea player who performed exactly how he prepared during the Gunners' 3-1 defeat at the Emirates.
He stated that the Chelsea kid will be given'more opportunities' as a result of his performance against Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta's team wanted to rebound from a 4-1 loss to Manchester City a week ago, and they found the finest opportunity in the game against a struggling Frank Lampard's side that is almost forgetting the taste of victory.
Madueke did show some promise, however, scoring his first goal for his new club midway through the second session.
Lampard acknowledged Madueke's display, saying: "If I want to talk about an individual it's Noni, who scored the goal, plays how he's been training.
"He'll get a lot more opportunities."
