EPL: FRANK LAMPARD DOESN'T WANT TO BE INTERIM MANAGER
"I don't want to be interim manager - Lampard..."
The Chelsea temporary manager, Frank Lampard, has said he won't take a job with a similar set of duties again.
Lampard was briefly employed by Blues co-owner Todd Boehly after Graham Potter was fired in April.
The six games the former midfielder has so far managed have all ended in losses.
The public consensus is that Lampard will leave Stamford Bridge for a second time this summer and be replaced by Mauricio Pochettino.
However, the 44-year-old has now declared he is not longer interested in temporary positions.
"I'm happy here but I don't want to be an interim manager in my next job. I haven't got regrets.
"When I came back here I certainly took it on with a lot of heart and understanding that it was short term. But I don't want to be an interim manager again," Lampard said.
