EPL: Arsenal Declined To Include A Release Clause On Saka's New Deal
Instead, the Arsenal decided to offer the 21-year-old a shorter contract than many had anticipated.
Saka renewed his four-year contract with the Premier League team this week.
Both parties benefit from it, with Arsenal defending Saka's transfer worth. The English forward will also be able to explore his alternatives should he decide to depart in two years, when the club will either sell his contract or extend it to him again.
Saka's base salary will increase under the new terms, reaching approximately £200,000 per week.
However, if performance goals are met, he might get up to £290,000 every week.
