Bike-man Detained In Asaba, Delta State, For Raping His Passenger

A bike man named Abdulahi Musa, 34, was detained for raping one of his clients in Asaba, Delta State.

The victim, Bright Edafe, 24, who was traveling from Benin to Asaba at the time, hired the suspect to drive her there on February 28, 2023, according to the image maker for the Delta State police command.

In his confession, Abdulahi admitted that while the woman was unclothed, he had videotaped her on her phone. However, the victim pointed out that after r+ping her, Abdulahi requested the full amount of money on her bank account.

"The suspect instead of taking her to her destination, diverted into a bush and raped her through the ants in a bush. On May 5, operatives of SIB commenced an intelligence-led investigation that lasted for 5 months, and the suspect was eventually arrested on May 20."
