2023 PRESIDENCY: PETER OBI CLARIFIES HIS MEETING WITH TINUBU
Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, has denied meeting with Nigeria's president-elect, Bola Tinubu.
According to him, the rumors and claimed altered images circulating on social media were part of an attempt by the opposition to undermine his goal.
Obi made the statement during a Monday night interview on Arise TV.
"I never visited him (Tinubu). I didn't. These are some of the things I've been telling you. They have turned the whole thing upside down.
"So, what they (the opposition) do now is think about what they are going to do to cause issues and what they are going to do to label him (Obi) this or that," Obi said.
