TIWA SAVAGE EVADES KIDNAPPING

Tiwa Savage, a Nigerian singer, has claimed that she recently escaped an attempted kidnapping.

The event occurred in Lagos State on Thursday.

Her management made the announcement on Friday via her verified Instagram profile.

According to the statement, some suspects have been arrested and are "currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi."

It went on to say that Savage and her family are safe.

Nevertheless, self-proclaimed investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo said that the singer's new driver, together with his cronies, masterminded the kidnapping attempt.

Olunloyo said in an Instagram post that the kidnappers followed her for days before being apprehended and handed over to police.

She said Tiwa Savage's new driver was the kidnappers' informant.

She advised celebrities to be aware of their housekeepers.
