THANK YOU FOR PUTTING UP WITH ME; I CAN'T WAIT TO GO FAR AWAY BUHARI TO NIGERIANS

President Muhammadu Buhari has praised Nigerians for tolerating him and giving him the opportunity to rule.

Buhari made the announcement on Friday while people of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, paid him Sallah homage.

He requested forgiveness from Nigerians who may have been harmed while he carried out his constitutional duty as President over the last eight years.

Buhari went on to say that he can't wait to get home, far away from Abuia.

"Thank you for tolerating me. I am lucky to have been a governor, minister, head of state, and President for two terms."

"I can't wait to go home. I deliberately arranged to be as far away as possible from you people."

Buhari was elected President in 2015.
