RENO OMOKRI: TWO THINGS NIGERIAN GUYS SHOULD LEARN FROM PLAYER ACHRAF HAKIMI
Reno Omokri, a sociopolitical activist, has compiled a list of lessons that young men might learn from popular player Achraf Hakimi.
According to an unsubstantiated web post, Hakimi's wife filed for divorce and requested half of his property.
Yet, according to current social media reports, Hakimi's wife was told by the court that her "millionaire" husband, who receives €1 million from PSG on a monthly basis, owns nothing, and that all of the footballer's property is registered in his mother's name.
In response to the trending news item, Omokri stated that young men can learn from the footballer's decision to save his money with his mother.
Nobody loves like a mother, he remarked, not even wives.
He also emphasized that ladies who are unwilling to die for their husbands would do so for their children, urging young men to prioritize their moms.
In a Facebook post, Reno said, "Have a mother like Hakimi's mother and you will never have a bother. Hopefully, young men who disrespect their mothers because of their wives can learn a thing or two from Hakimi.
"Nobody can love you like God. But after God, nobody can love you like your mother, with the possible, but not certain, exception of your father! Hakimi makes us appreciate the lyrics of Prince Nico Mbarga's Sweet Mother.
"You begin to understand why there are motherless babies' homes, but no fatherless babies' homes. Your wife may not take a bullet for you. But she will most likely take it for her child with you. Now, remember that you are your mother's child".
