PETER OBI'S RELEASE FROM UK INCARCERATION IS FACILITATED BY THE APC - ADAMU GARBA
Adamu Garba, a former presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, said that the APC-led federal government recently aided the release of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi from his jail cell in the United Kingdom.
Recalls that Peter Obi was reportedly detained for hours last Friday at London's Heathrow Airport for purported impersonating.
After being questioned by UK immigration officers, the former Anambra State governor was released.
Garba stated on Thursday that his release was made possible by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, led by Abike Dabiri.
He wrote in a tweet: "Here is how the government of APC helped to recover Peter Obi from his detention cell in the UK over allegations of travelling to the UK with fake documents. All thanks to Abike Dabiri.
"His campaign fake, manifesto fake, his motives fake, even his travel documents are fake. Why?"
