ORBAN, A GENT ATTACKER, IS READY TO PLAY FOR THE SUPER EAGLES
According to his representatives, Gift Orban, a forward for KAA Gent, is ready to represent Nigeria.
When Nigeria played Guinea in a 2023 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualification match last month, Gent of the Belgian Pro League did not release Orban.
But according to one of his agents, Udia Attal, the teenage striker is content and eager to represent his nation.
"He (Orban) is very happy and proud to play for Nigeria should he be invited again," Attal told SCORENigeria.
"Such a call-up can only be good for his career."
Since joining Gent from Norwegian club Stabaek in January, the 20-year-old has been in spectacular form.
Since joining the team, Orban has scored 14 goals in 12 appearances for Gent in all competitions.
