CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER-FINAL: TWO GAMES THIS WEEK COULD PRODUCE SHOCKING OUTCOMES
Today and tomorrow are the dates for the opening legs of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal matches.
On Tuesday night, Benfica will host Inter Milan, and Manchester City will play Bayern Munich at the Etihad Stadium.
On Wednesday night, Real Madrid will play Chelsea in the Santiago Bernabeu, and AC Milan will play Napoli at San Siro.
The UEFA Champions League last-8 matches indicated above, however, could yield surprise results this week, according to prediction.
Tuesday night's match between Benfica and Inter Milan will be held at Estádio da Luz (old).
Three competitive meetings between the two teams have taken place, with Inter defeating Benfica once and drawing the other two.
Benfica presently leads the Portuguese League, and Inter Milan is ranked sixth in the standings in Serie A.
Benfica's most recent game ended in a loss. But because they'll be playing in front of their own supporters in Portugal, they might shock the Serie A heavyweights there.
The game will begin at 8 o'clock.
Chelsea versus Real Madrid:
The Santiago Bernabeu will host this Champions League round of 8 match.
Chelsea enters the match having dropped a Premier League match to Wolves by a score of 1-0, while Real Madrid dropped a La Liga match to Villarreal by a score of 3-2 last Saturday.
The Blues are now in 11th place in the Premier League standings, while Carlo Ancelotti's team is second in La Liga.
The two sides have previously faced off four times. In the Champions League, Chelsea has faced Real Madrid four times and has won three, drawn one, and lost one.
The game will begin at 8 o'clock.
