KEYAMO TO CHIMAMANDA: "YOUR LETTER TO BIDEN REEKS OF COLONIAL THINKING"
Her claim of election poll tampering on February 25 was unfounded, according to a representative for the APC Presidential Campaign Committee.
Adichie informed Biden of the violations on Thursday, accusing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of turning a blind eye.
The author warned Biden that celebrating Tinubu, who was "hurriedly" named as president-elect, would undermine US support for democratic institutions.
The memo, according to a statement released by Keyamo on Friday, "reflects a pitiful colonial mentality," making fun of lengthy letters written by "bitter unhappy losers acting as concerned people."
Presidents base their decisions and acts on reports from both official and diplomatic sources, the Minister of State, Labour, and Employment remarked.
Keyamo argued that it was perplexing that a person who had been praised for using a God-given skill to further African values had debased that same ethos by writing a "petty letter."
According to him, pleading with a foreign power to refrain from sending a "mere congratulations message to a president-elect" has no impact because it does not support Nigeria's democratic nature.
Keyamo continued by comparing folks falling over themselves in irrational delight over "a useless letter" to a group of drowning supporters grasping at anything to keep them alive.
