JAMB POSTPONES DIRECT ENTRY CONTINUATION, SETS ePIN DEADLINE

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has postponed the continuation of its ongoing Direct Entry, DE registration ahead of the 2023 national census procedure.

The board's Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, announced the postponement in a statement made available to DAILY POST on Sunday, stating that the Direct Entry registration, which was scheduled to close in April, would continue on the 6th of May after the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, and the national census exercise scheduled for the 3rd to 5th of May 2023.

The Board also instructed all applicants who wished to register for the DE exercise to get DE ePINs from specified vending outlets before the 30th of April deadline. And come to the Board's offices between the 6th and 13th of May to finish their registration process.

Assuring applicants interested in DE registration that they will not be denied registration if they follow the Board's directives and register within the time frame specified. The Board, on the other hand, seeks candidates' understanding while it implements some novel methods aimed at reducing the occurrence of falsification of results, data, and other transgressions.
