EPL: GUARDIOLA NAMES THE FINEST ENGLISH TEAM AHEAD OF MANCHESTER CITY VS. ARSENAL

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has praised Arsenal as the finest team in England ahead of their Premier League encounter on Wednesday night.

Arsenal are presently top of the table, five points ahead of City, who now have two games remaining.

Guardiola has stated that it is a chance for the champions to "completely control the situation."

He did, however, urge City fans to create a fantastic atmosphere inside the Etihad Stadium.

"It is a final - against a team who has been the best team in England so far.

"We need incredible noise from the first minute to the last as I know which opponent we are going to play against.

"If we win it's a step to getting it completely in our hands. We have this opportunity and we want to take it," Guardiola said.
