FA CUP: TEN HAG PROMISES MANCHESTER UNITED WILL DEFEAT MANCHESTER CITY

"We've shown them..."

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has reminded Manchester City that the Red Devils are capable of defeating them again.

Ten Hag stated that Manchester United have previously demonstrated their ability to defeat Pep Guardiola's side, but that everything must be right for that to happen.

Both teams have advanced to the FA Cup final this season and will face off on June 6 at Wembley Stadium.

Pep Guardiola's City are seeking the treble this season, and while Real Madrid stands in their way in the Champions League, with Arsenal battling for the Premier League crown, Man United, the only English team to have won a treble, stands in their way to the FA Cup.

Manchester United defeated Brighton on penalties at Wembley, while Manchester City defeated Sheffield United 3-0 on Saturday.

The Dutchman told talkSPORT, "We want to win the final, it's all about that.

"We already showed this season that we can beat them.

"We also had a strong defeat, but we showed in our home game that we can beat them, but everything has to be perfect."
