EPL: YOU WON'T BE SUCCESSFUL AT CHELSEA, SAYS EX-TOTTENHAM PLAYER TO POCHETTINO
Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O'Hara has forecast the worst for Mauricio Pochettino if he is appointed as Chelsea's new manager.
O'Hara believes the former Tottenham manager will not be a good match for the Blues, adding that the Argentine manager is a Tottenham man through and through.
Following Graham Potter's dismissal, the Blues have been looking for the ideal head coach to lead them to glory next season.
As a result, the west London club appointed club veteran Frank Lampard as manager until the end of the season, but the former Everton manager has lost all five games in charge.
Multiple reports in England suggested that Pochettino, a former Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain manager, had been chosen for the job, but O'Hara told talkSPORTS that the former Tottenham manager's stint at Stamford Bridge would not be successful.
"I don't think it'll work because he is Spurs," he said.
"The reason I don't think it'll work is because Chelsea are still in the mindset of winning at all costs. If you don't win then you're out."
