EPL: LAMPARD ON CHELSEA FUTURE PLAYER [WATCH]
Lampard reveals the 'future of Chelsea' player
Frank Lampard, the club's interim manager, has stated that Enzo Fernandez may be the "future" of the team.
Toddy Boehly, the Blues' co-owner, paid £107 million to sign Fernandez from Benfica in January.
However, the move has so far underwhelmed, despite the fact that Fernandez has offered a spark in several games and may eventually realize his potential.
On Tuesday, Lampard told reporters: "For a young player to achieve what he's achieved in this footballing year is amazing.
"It's a difficult moment to come to the club, but it's a challenge that will make him better. He is the future of Chelsea."
