EPL: IWOBI IS COUNTING ON EVERTON FANS TO HELP HIM BEAT NEWCASTLE UNITED
Everton star Alex Iwobi believes that playing in front of their raucous fans at Goodison Park will provide extra impetus for the team when they face Newcastle United on Thursday.
The Toffees are still in the relegation zone and need to win this game to improve their chances of survival.
Last Saturday, Sean Dyche's side held Crystal Palace to a 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park.
Newcastle United, on the other hand, annihilated Tottenham Hotspur 6-1 the following day.
"It's another game at home with the fans behind us," Iwobi told Everton's official website
"That should lift and motivate us. Newcastle are coming off the back of a good win, but we've got the motivation and a couple of players coming back. Doucs and Dom are back."
Iwobi has one goal and six assists in 31 league games for the Merseysiders this season.
