EPL: EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR PRAISES ARSENAL STAR AHEAD OF CITY SHOWDOWN
Former Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has praised Arsenal's Bukoyo Saka ahead of the Gunners' possibly decisive Premier League title match against Manchester City on Wednesday.
Adebayor says the 21-year-old does not appear to be affected by negativity, and that despite his youth, the England international has already demonstrated his maturity.
Saka was one of the players racially harassed by England fans after missing a penalty during a shootout at the Euro 2020 tournament.
The 21-year-old was targeted once more after missing a penalty attempt against West Ham in one of their most recent draws.
Adebayor, on the other hand, believes the youngster will put all of that behind him.
He explained to Wetbasis: "Bukayo gives the impression that he's strong in the head. Such negative experiences will certainly bring him further in his maturing process.
"He's a smart kid who will learn from it, I'm sure of that. He's proven many times that he can handle pressure very well."
