ANCELOTTI TALKS ABOUT REPLACING LAMPARD AT CHELSEA IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Real Madrid, has ruled out replacing Frank Lampard at Chelsea.

Ancelotti will square off against Lampard, whom he managed during his first tenure in command of the Blues, in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Italian, who has a year left on his contract with Real Madrid, has stated that he does not intend to return to Stamford Bridge for a second spell.

"Be back? No, I hope that Lampard is able to do a fantastic job with them," added Ancelotti

Lampard was only appointed as an interim manager last week and is under contract until the end of the season.
