AFCON UNDER-17: GOLDEN EAGLETS' 26 PLAYERS PASS AN MRI TEST AND ARE ON THEIR WAY TO CONSTANTINE
On Monday, all 26 youngsters chosen to the Golden Eaglets roster for the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in 2023 completed the Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) test with flying colors.
The MRI test is required for all teams competing in the competition and is used to determine whether the players are of the appropriate age category.
According to team officer Francis Achi, the CAF medical staff was satisfied with the Golden Eaglets athletes.
The testing of the athletes lasted about one hour.
Meanwhile, the players and officials have arrived in Constantine, where they will compete in all of their group games.
On Sunday, Nduka Ugbade's team will face Zambia at the Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine.
The game will begin at 5 p.m. Nigerian time.
