A BRT BUS CAUGHT FIRE AFTER COLLIDING WITH A DANFO IN LAGOS

Earlier morning, a horrific accident between a BRT Bus and a commercial Bus occurred at Ifako near Ogudu Bridge.

The commercial bus driver is said to have acted immediately, injuring many passengers.

Following the collision, an enraged mob allegedly set fire to the BRT bus, causing traffic jam along that axis.

Confirming the accident, a spokesman for the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) blamed the collision on the buses' excessive speed, adding that while the BRT bus caught fire, worsening the gridlock along the axis, the rain compounded the gridlock and LASTMA officials were dispatched to the accident scene to manage traffic.
