WE ARE NOT OWING POLICEMEN ELECTION ALLOWANCES - FPRO

All policemen's election allowances were paid, use dmbs to overcome your non-payment problems

The Nigeria Police Force wants to set the record straight on the alleged underpayment of election allowances to police officers who took part in the elections on February 25, 2023. The mandate for the payment of the allowances due to all police officers has been issued, and all lodgements have been made to the appropriate Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) for further payment to police officers who bank with them. The Force wishes to reaffirm in the strongest possible terms that it has paid all of its personnel the election allowances. Nonetheless, it is shocking to learn from the news that some police officers have not been paid their earned allowances, and this delay has not been well received by the force.

In that remark, the Force implores all Officers and Men who have not yet received payment of the election allowances to raise these concerns with their respective banks in order to hasten the process of resolving the problems that have caused the delays.

It is important to reiterate that issues with non-payment should not be attributed to the Force because the Police Account and Budget Office has taken the necessary action and is getting ready to pay the second tranche of election allowances for the upcoming governor's and state house of representatives elections. We are aware of the antics of some troublemakers who spread false information through their hired bloggers and are determined to malign the Force for trivial reasons.

The Nigeria Police Force is unwavering in its commitment to giving our officers and men better living conditions and better welfare, which is of the utmost importance.
