TINUBU AND SHETTIMA RECEIVE CERTIFICATES OF RETURN FROM INEC [WATCH]

The victor of the 2023 presidential election, Bola Tinubu, and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, have each been given Certificates of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Professor Mahmood Yakubu, the chairman of INEC, delivered the COR presentation on Wednesday in the afternoon at the International Convention Centre in Abuja, where the presidential election results were tallied.

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party finished in second place with 6,484,520 votes, while Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress won the election with 8,794,726 votes. Peter Obi of the Labour Party received 6,101,533 votes to place third, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party received 1,496,687 votes to place fourth among the 18 candidates.
